The Moot

Did you hear about WAM? Did you attend? Are you wondering what we are talking about? Just ask any of the attendees of the last National Moot in Western Australia, and you are sure to see a smile across their face as they explain to you how much fun they had there, and all the new friends they met!

The time has come to start thinking about the 20th Australia Rover Moot, The Moot hosted by Rovers Victoria. The Moot will be held from the 27th of December 2016 to the 6th of January 2017, and promises to pack in as much fun, activities and socialising that you could wish for and more!

Expeditions and off-site activities are still hush hush, but when they are announced there will surely be a least one (but most likely more) which you wish to do. Along with a series of on-site themed days, that are designed to make the most out of every moment of The Moot.

The Facts:

If you are aged 18 by the 27th of December 2016, and a registered Rover,  you are eligible to attend The Moot as a participant. Too old to attend as a participant? You can always assist at The Moot as a member of staff.

The Moot will be held at Mafeking Park, in the highlands area of Victoria. The site was originally purchased by Rovers Victoria for the 14th National Moot in 1992.

More information will be available in the coming months, including cost, expeditions, activities and Tassiausine contingent news. So keep an eye on this space!!!

The Moot has an online newsletter that is sure to keep you up to date.
